We had not heard of this national park until this trip and some friends, the Smiths of Lincoln, NE, who joined up with us in Utah

, told us about it. It's a beautiful area of our country and its chief feature is a "fold" of earth over 100 miles in length. Check it out further at

one is called the "Egyptian Temple." You can see most of the sites in a day of driving but there are many interesting hikes and a lovely camping area in the park that could interest you for several days.
That includes these Indian petroglyphs, or drawings, that are in the park's boundaries.
