Geocaching in Deming

Today in Deming, NM we spent a full day geocaching in the city and in the mountains nearby. The pictures are of some local fauna outside our home. The last cache we found was also the best: Apache petroglyphs in the hills north of Deming. We did a little climbing to reach them and took lots of pictures. If you're not acquainted with the sport/hobby of geocaching, check it out on www.geocaching.com. Great fun and exercise!

We plan to leave tomorrow and spend 1-2 nights in Benson, AZ or nearby in St.David. We have the names of two nice RV parks there. We'll plan on going into Tucson probably on the 19th and staying there for several days, visiting with friends and learning something of the city and environs. Then on to Phoenix and southern California. More later.
Note to children: we are leaving our cell phones on now; it's just that some of the places we stay are off the beaten (Cingular) path.
