St. David and Benson

Bet you didn't even know there was a "St.David, AZ", did you? It's a little burg 7 miles south of Benson, which is not much bigger. Together maybe the size of Floresville? We stayed at a nice place, the Western Horizons Rv for just $13/night. We spent the day yesterday geocaching in the Texas Canyon. Then stopped by a Benedictine Monastery for a short visit to their birding trail. A very interesting day!
Today we moved on to Tucson and Beaudry's RV Resort. It's a beautiful place with all the usual amenities and a real bargain at $10/night (it's off-season!). It's also 115 degrees in the shade! ("but it's a dry heat..") Like sticking your head in an oven! We're enjoying every day in spite of the temperature. Tomorrow our Tucson friends (known from Lincoln, NE) will be taking us to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Should be a lovely time! www.desertmuseum.org

On Saturday it's on to Phoenix for a few days. Wish you could be here, too. God is gracious; we've had no real problems and are really enjoying the "life on the road."
