The Huntington Gardens

Last week Sabrina took us to one of her favorite spots in the LA area, the Huntington Gardens. Fantastic! The gardens contain a phenomenal number of plants, divided into several world climate zones. You move from palms to Chinese gardens to desert cacti. The library is phenomenal, containing a Gutenberg Bible and original Chaucer and many other rarities, arranged in a very enjoyable layout.
The art collection is second to none, with many works by the master, including the Blue Boy, by Gainsborough, long one of my favorites. Check it out at www.huntington.org/
Here's a small cactus plant and a bumblebee nearby.
